Thank you kindly. Granted, the one on the left was done on an iPhone, and the right using a drawing tablet... but my style has changed nonetheless.
I guess I'll have to do another one in 8 months to find out.

It's pretty good considering you did it in an hour. You're probably right in saying you used too many gradients though, especially on the cat. Gradient shading on 3D objects like a cat doesn't really work that well, the white shading on his front makes the cat appear completely smooth and cylindrical. It could look better if you drew the shadows in manually. A few nitpicky things as well, if it was me, I would smooth out his whiskers and make his eyes a little bigger. His legs are also pretty low down. And there are white lines on the top and right sides of the image, you should try cropping them out. You did well in the shape of the cat's head, his expression it pretty good too. Good work!!

Wow... this is perfect, I would make so many sandcastles here.

[Terra Majoris]

Some nice work here, I like the atmospheric glow you put around the planet. The yellow ring of clouds looks just a tiny bit out of sync with the equator, if you raise it a little it might look more equatorial. Now for the stars, it's a pretty good arrangement overall. I reckon they should be more uniform in colour - you've got a few purple and red ones that seem a little out of place. But the stark whiteness of the rest of them is a bit piercing and distracting from the planet. You could try making them a little dimmer. Maybe zoom in and add a bunch of tiny groups of stars like mini galaxies.
Anyway good work! I'll go check out your other arts!
