Hey there! The next cartoon is in the works. It's set about a year after the events of Frostbite. The fight will be much better and more even this time around. Not just some guy winning the whole time.
Anyway! It will feature javelins, zapping, punching and stabbing, some guy named Pulse and this guy. There'll probably be some kind of skippable introduction too.
Right now its at about 700 frames. The whole thing might be around 6000? Not sure but we'll see how we go.

Recently I've been looking at a bunch of Castle Crashers videos. Man I gotta get that game, it looks amazing. Found an awesome link to all its music too! The painter boss and the mill chase themes are the best.

This is the first cartoon I have created since Lance, I think it is lots better, and I learned heaps of stuff while making it. Like how to crack my neck.
I really hope you like it because I spent many months animating this thing! And if you don't like it, please provide some criticisms. I will listen to everything you say. It's nowhere near perfect so don't expect anything hugely awesome!

In other news... this animation will be ready soon!! Cheshyre is doing an amazing job on the music and I can't stop grinning while I listen to it. The cartoon is not worthy of such great music but here we are anyway!! The whole thing runs for about 4 minutes. I learned how to crack my neck while making it. I hope you like it!!

Hello fellow Newgroundian, I recently put up a new piece of art and wanna know what you think of it. Here's the link: here. It seemed to turn out alright in my eyes at least but other people don't seem to think much of my art. It isn't that great or anything so what do you think I should focus on improving?

In other news that cartoon is still in the works, things are going great, and Cheshyre is the greatest and is making the music for it! :D

I am still making a thing, and it passed the 4000 frame mark the other day (28 fps)! When I started it I still wasn't very good at animating (or drawing for that matter) but I think you can see improvements as the animation goes along. Not sure if that's good or bad but there you go. There's still a fair bit left to do but I'm leaving out a few scenes that would probably destroy me.

The other day there was an earthquake here! It wasn't big enough to do any real damage. It was fun. It made someone spill their coffee somewhere.

EDIT: 0 comments in a month? New record! Well actually this isn't very invigorating. I suppose that's fair enough since I haven't submitted anything very good yet. Since no one reads this thing I guess I'm just talking to myself. But hey! All the sound effects and animation are done on this project. So... soon! I hope that you people will watch it. Maybe even enjoy it. It sure did take a lot of work...

HOLY MACCARONI! I finally finished that scene. It's been clogging up the works since February. It's only 5.5 seconds long but it took so long to force out because university has reared its ugly face and constricted to the amount of time I can spend animating to almost nothing. And I also confuse myself with what's going where in which layer so I have to focus really hard with my miniscule brainpower to work out what needs to be done in the scenes.

So... That was scene 12. ...30ish scenes to go? I'm still trying to find my stride with animating so it'll be a while. I honestly thought the whole thing would be done by now.

My skill level with animating is still nowhere near what I want it to be so don't hold your breath for a top-notch cartoon. At least it looks better than Lance though... that one was an eyesore. At least it had a good tune.

Not much else to report on...

Hello! University is getting in the way of any real progress with animating, so I'm just drawing stuff and trying to think of more plot ideas for now. Gotta keep at the uni studies so I can get my piece of paper. When the summer holidays roll around (on my side of the planet, that's a few months away) I should be able to start making some real progress. For now, WEEZING GUSTA!! One of the stupidest things I ever drew...
